About The Film

‘Intelligent Risk Taking’ is based on a poem of the same name written by Darren Gray, featured in his 2004 book ‘Delicate Elephant’.

The film was shot in the summer of 2004 at various locations in England and was part of a series of short films director Jay Purcell made of Darren’s poems.

The film has been featured in many podcasts around the world and was also featured on the homepage of YouTube in 2006.
